Hogarth Singers Patron: Robert Tear Registered Charity No. 1000993
Our choir was formed 25 years ago and has built an enthusiastic group of both members and followers over the years. In 2005 we decided to change our name from the Meistersingers to Hogarth Singers to reflect, more accurately, the type of music we sing. We sing a broad range of music, from plainsong to contemporary, performing four or five concerts per year, with about 50 - 60 members at the moment and always welcome new singers.
Keen singers are invited to come along to join in one of our rehearsals and to take a simple voice test. Previous choral experience would be helpful, but what is needed most of all is that you are keen to learn and enjoy making music with others. While the choir is based in Chiswick, our members come from many parts of London, helped by the fact that our current main rehearsal venue, the Arts Educational Schools, is conveniently situated just a stone’s throw from Turnham Green Underground station.
This site is our public notice board and newsletter – we hope that you enjoy it and to see you at our concerts. We are planning to post plenty of information about the choir, its activities past and present, and our local links, on other web pages as we develop them. See our Choir News page for latest information about the choir.

ARTS EDUCATION CENTRE, BEDFORD PARK, CHISWICK
This is our current main rehearsal venue. The Arts Education Centre is in Bath Road, round the corner from Turnham Green Church, just beyond the famous Tabard Inn.
ST MICHAEL AND ALL ANGELS, BEDFORD PARK, CHISWICK
Most of our performances, and some rehearsals, are scheduled to be at St Michael and All Angels, the large church with a spire at the corner of Bath Road and The Avenue, just north of Turnham Green Station.
Turnham Green is served by District Line trains going to and from Ealing Broadway or Richmond; Piccadilly line services unfortunately only call in the late evenings.
There is plenty of on-street parking near the church, both in Bath Road and in side streets.
There are several bus services including three which pass the Arts Centre / Turnham Green Station:
bullet94 - Piccadilly Circus - Shepherd's Bush - Acton Green
bullet272 - Shepherd's Bush - East Acton - Chiswick
bulletE3 - Greenford - Acton - Chiswick
bullet27, 190, 267, 391, H91 all stop on the main road (King Street - from Hammersmith to Chiswick) which is only five minutes away
There are usually taxis waiting under the bridge outside Turnham Green Station..
The Arts Education Centre is the large building north of Turnham Green tube and a short way to the east, on the south side of Bath Road. St Michael's is slightly nearer to the station, on the north side of Bath Road.
